This report, “From Turkey to Canada: The Persistent Shadows of Hate Crimes Against the Hizmet Movement”, delves into the experiences of hate speech and hate crimes faced by members of the Hizmet Movement in Canada. Building on previous research, it offers a comprehensive analysis of how the derogatory label “FETO,” used by the Turkish government, has influenced attitudes and behaviors toward Hizmet members even within the Canadian multicultural landscape.
