Student Youth Forum 2026
Northern Justice Watch is pleased to present the Student Youth Forum 2026, a youth-led event dedicated to exploring the long-term social impacts of crimes against humanity in Türkiye over the last quarter century. This forum provides a unique opportunity for students and young professionals to engage in meaningful dialogue, exchange diverse perspectives, and examine how historical injustices continue to influence communities today.
The forum is designed to encourage thoughtful discussion on the ways crimes against humanity reshape societies, affect collective memory, and challenge reconciliation efforts. Participants will explore why societies often struggle to respond collectively to injustice, why similar patterns of violence can reoccur, and what role education, awareness, and civic engagement can play in preventing future atrocities.
Unlike a traditional conference, the Student Youth Forum places young people at the center of the conversation. Attendees are encouraged not only to listen, but also to contribute their own ideas, experiences, and perspectives in an open and respectful environment.
