Our Mission

Our mission at Northern Justice Watch is to deliver justice for victims of atrocity crimes, to challenge the impunity often associated with these crimes, and to uphold the human rights and freedoms of all victims across multiple countries. We are dedicated to bringing their stories to light and challenging the unaccountability that plagues many oppressive regimes.

Our faith in righteousness is steadfast. Using Canadian and international law, we stand up to global dictatorships and strive to maintain Canada’s international human rights legacy. From our base in Canada, we respond to global human rights violations, launching and pursuing domestic and international legal initiatives. Our mission encapsulates a clear, present commitment: No crime against humanity should go unnoticed or unchallenged.

What Do We Stand For?

At Northern Justice Watch, we stand firm in our resolve to uphold justice, challenge impunity, and support victims of heinous crimes. We honor Canada’s legacy as a global leader in human rights legislation by utilizing mechanisms such as the Crimes Against Humanity and War Crimes Act and the Magnitsky Act in our pursuit of justice.

We stand beside victims of crimes against humanity, advocating for their rights and providing free legal support at every stage of their journey toward justice. Our fight against impunity is relentless, and we strive to ensure that justice is served, no matter how complex or challenging the circumstance.

Our efforts to prosecute perpetrators involve filing criminal and civil claims before international bodies or national courts using the principles of universal and extraterritorial jurisdiction. We also advocate for a thorough investigation of situations and prosecution of perpetrators of mass atrocities at a national level.

In essence, Northern Justice Watch is a clarion call for justice. We tirelessly work towards a world where righteousness prevails, where the voices of the oppressed are heard, and where every crime against humanity is challenged.
