Northern Justice Watch Hosts Fundraising Social Event in Support of Human Rights and Justice

On June 13, 2026, Northern Justice Watch (NJW) welcomed supporters, advocates, and community members to its Fundraising Social Event at Bosphorus Turkish Cuisine in Toronto. The women-only gathering provided an opportunity to connect through meaningful conversations while raising awareness and support for NJW’s ongoing human rights initiatives.

The afternoon brought together individuals who share a commitment to advancing justice, promoting education, and advocating for communities affected by atrocity crimes and systemic discrimination. Guests learned more about NJW’s work in combating hate, supporting access to education for vulnerable girls, and raising awareness for Yazidi women and girls who continue to face the lasting impacts of genocide and displacement.

Throughout the event, attendees engaged in thoughtful discussions about the importance of community-driven advocacy and the role that individuals can play in advancing accountability and protecting human rights. The gathering also highlighted Northern Justice Watch’s mission of fostering education, empowering communities, and amplifying the voices of those affected by injustice around the world.

The event served not only as a fundraiser but also as a space for networking, collaboration, and shared purpose. The generosity and enthusiasm of attendees demonstrated the growing support for NJW’s work and reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to building partnerships that create meaningful and lasting impact.

Northern Justice Watch extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who attended, contributed, and helped make the event a success. Together, we continue to strengthen our collective efforts to promote justice, defend human dignity, and inspire positive change both locally and globally.
