Join Northern Justice Watch for LIVE Project Seminar #10, an engaging discussion on the role of advocacy, community leadership, and civil society in advancing international justice. Bringing together legal professionals, academics, and community advocates, this seminar will explore how individuals and communities can transform lived experiences and victims’ voices into meaningful advocacy and lasting action.

The session will feature Meris Musanovic, Bosnian Qualified Attorney at Law and Transitional Justice Expert; Dr. Tahir Shaaran, Professor at McMaster University and Hazara Community Advocate; and Jamileh Nasso, Co-Founder and President of the Canadian Yazidi Association. Through their diverse professional and community experiences, the speakers will share practical insights into effective advocacy, the challenges faced by affected communities, and the ways civil society can contribute to justice and accountability.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn from real-world experiences, explore practical advocacy approaches, and engage in meaningful dialogue about the importance of community leadership in international justice.
